Her name is Callie

I like names.  Unique names, pretty names; you name it (ha! Sorry, couldn't help it.).

I have journals with pages of names.  Scraps of paper with names.

I even have an Excel document.

And with all of that, you'd think that I could just close my eyes and point and have a good name when I need it.

But that hasn't happened yet.

For instance, with this baby rat I have; I have been trying out different monikers for her, and many of them sound nice.  But none fit.

She's sweet, she's well-natured, she plays well with others, and she loves to be cuddled and held.  And with all of those nice traits, one has to find a name that matches.
And today, I think I found it.  Callie.

Doesn't that sound perfect?

I like the name, I like the sound, and it is short and easy to call out (Remington or Bartleby or Broomhilda would all be tricky names to call out quickly to get your pet to come.  It can be done, sure, but let's not make this gal work too hard!)

So Callie it is.  :)
